Bold Earth approached Bonito Studio to help redesign and redevelop their website with one clear goal: create a CMS-driven platform that could grow with them.
The challenge was to build a website that:
- Is easy for the team to update, manage, and scale
- Supports multiple programs, destinations, and staff content
- Maintains creative flexibility without locking the team into rigid templates
- Provides structure without sacrificing control
Bold Earth needed a flexible system , not just a redesign, that could support long-term growth.
We kicked things off with a collaborative workshop with the Bold Earth team. This session helped us define the user journey, clarify goals, align on key features, and map how different audiences (students, parents, and staff) would move through the site.
From there, we developed a detailed content framework, breaking the website down page by page. This included:
- Defining required content for each page
- Clear CTA placement
- Messaging hierarchy to guide users toward action
Once the structure was locked in, we moved into high-fidelity wireframes, translating strategy into clear, usable layouts that balanced clarity, energy, and conversion.
The Result
The result is a dynamic, modern, and highly functional website built in WordPress. The site combines static pages with flexible product and program templates, giving the Bold Earth team full control over their content.
